WhyPark Domain Parking 4

YOUR WHYPARK ACCOUNT

Go to WhyPark and register for your account by paying the fees. They take take all kinds of cards but PayPal is probably the best way to go as you can use it everywhere on the web and it is so simple. Once WhyPark have notified you that you are ok to go the fun starts !
Step 2:
NOW WE GET DOWN TO BUSINESS

Go to your Domain Name Server Registrars ( eg Really Cheap Names, GoDaddy, etc) and log into your account .

1. Click on Domains

2. When you get to the page that lists your domains tick the domains you wish to transfer. This can be done in bulk. You can transfer as many as you like at one time.

3. Click on Nameservers

4. Choose - custom nameservers - (I host my domains elsewhere.)

5. Type in nameserver 1..... NS1.WHYPARK.COM

6. Type in nameserver 2..... NS2.WHYPARK.COM

7. Click ok and then you are done transferring your domains to WhyPark

8. This must be done every time you transfer domains to WhyPark no matter what name server registrar you use. The process may be only slightly different in each registrar but it achieves the same result.

THEN GO TO WHYPARK

Open your WhyPark Account and go to Domain Manager and fill in the forms.

1. Domain Name - this is the name you have registered. Do not put in the http or www, just the basic name. For example.... bighairydogsecrets.com

2. Site Name - choose a name that may include the keywords but is relevant to your site.

3. Site Category - There is a large list to choose from.

4. Choose your site layout. There is big list to choose from.

5. Choose the amount of articles - for your site page ( approx 10).

6. Choose related articles - approx 7 - 10. When you publish the site have a look to see the balance. You can easily adjust these.

7. Next comes the most important choice- Keywords - your whole site will be built on what words you choose. If you find that you don't seem to get many articles you will have to adjust them to be maybe a little more generic. I found on occasion that I also had to adjust my site title to suit as well. Use the whole 20 keyword spots.

8. Next come top and bottom ad codes - this is where you use the advertising codes such as Google Adsense as above. You are not limited to Adsense and can choose any others instead. I have quoted adsense for ease of purpose.

9. Meta Description - this is fairly important though many will tell you it is not. I noticed when a site is indexed in the search engines especially the granddaddy of them all, Google, it uses the meta tag description of your site on its page so make the meta tag rich in keyword description.

10. Is This Site for Sale? - You can choose to say yes or no. This can be handy to see what sort of reaction you may get for that particular domain name.

11. Stats Code - You can choose any. Eg Google Analytics, StatCounter, OneStatFree This where your visits are analysed. You do not have to do this but it is advised so you can track your traffic.

By using the stats you can see which of your websites is performing best and you may decide to make a full blown website from it monetizing it to its full advantage.

12. Now submit your page and your site is setup. You are not finished yet.

When your site is setup
(a) Click on Domain Manager

(b) Click on view your domain names

(c) Click on edit on your site

(d) Scroll down the page until you come to Stats Code; Above this now is another box that only appears after setting up the site saying
Google Sitemap Verification - just under that will be URL that says
Your Google Sitemap file is at:
http://www.bighairydogtrainingetc.com/google-sitemap.cfm
Take note of the URL that appears and copy and paste to save .

12. Google will say your site is verified and then Google knows you have a site. The Google bots will know to crawl your site. Can take a couple of days.
